Refund & Cancellation Policy
Effective Date: September 21, 2026
This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to event tickets sold by The Elevation Project, LLC through elevationprox.com unless a specific event page clearly states a different refund policy before purchase. Please review the refund terms before completing your purchase.
1. Standard Refund Window
Unless otherwise stated on the applicable event registration page, ticket holders may request a refund up to 14 calendar days before the scheduled start of the event. Refund requests must be received before that deadline.
Requests received fewer than 14 calendar days before the event generally are not eligible for a refund unless the applicable event terms provide otherwise, the event is canceled or materially rescheduled as described below, or a refund is required by applicable law.
2. How to Request a Refund
Send refund requests to [email protected] and include the purchaser name, email address used for the order, event name, order number if available, ticket or attendee name, and reason for the request if relevant.
3. Refund Amount and Processing Fees
For an approved refund, The Elevation Project will refund the full eligible amount paid to The Elevation Project to the original payment method whenever reasonably possible. The Elevation Project will absorb payment-processing fees associated with an approved refund and will not deduct Stripe processing fees from the customer’s approved refund amount.
4. No-Shows
Failure to attend an event does not qualify for a refund after the applicable refund deadline. This includes schedule conflicts, changes in personal plans, missed transportation, failure to complete travel arrangements, failure to obtain lodging, or failure to arrive before or during the event. Where appropriate, a ticket transfer may be available instead.
5. Ticket Transfers
Unless the applicable event states otherwise, you may request that a ticket be transferred to another attendee up to 72 hours before the scheduled event start time. Transfer requests should be sent to [email protected] and include the purchaser’s information and the replacement attendee’s information. A transferred ticket does not create a new refund deadline.
6. Resale
Tickets may not be resold for commercial profit or used in unauthorized promotions, contests, or giveaways without written permission from The Elevation Project. We may cancel tickets obtained through fraudulent or unauthorized resale activity where permitted by law.
7. Event Cancellation
If The Elevation Project cancels an event and does not reschedule it, ticket purchasers will receive a refund of the amounts paid to The Elevation Project for the canceled event. The Elevation Project will absorb payment-processing fees for such refunds.
We are not responsible for separate expenses such as airfare, transportation, hotels, meals, lost wages, childcare, or other travel or personal expenses. We recommend considering refundable travel arrangements when attending an event that requires travel.
8. Rescheduled Events
If an event is rescheduled, existing tickets will generally remain valid for the new date. If you cannot attend the rescheduled event, you may request a refund by contacting us within 14 calendar days after notice of the new event date, unless a different period is stated in the rescheduling notice.
9. Material Location Changes
Changing rooms or venues within the same general metropolitan area generally will not qualify as an event cancellation. If an event is moved to a materially different geographic location, we may provide affected ticket holders with a reasonable opportunity to request a refund.
10. Speakers, Agenda, and Program Changes
Unless a specific speaker or program component was expressly guaranteed as the primary subject of the ticket purchase, reasonable changes to speakers, session order, schedule, agenda, activities, format, or room assignment do not ordinarily constitute an event cancellation and do not automatically create a refund right.
11. Removal for Misconduct
An attendee who is removed from an event for violating the Event Registration & Attendee Terms, venue rules, safety instructions, or applicable law is not entitled to a refund except where required by law.
12. Refund Timing
Approved refunds will be submitted to the applicable payment processor as reasonably promptly as practicable. Once submitted, the time required for a refund to appear on your account is controlled by the payment processor, card network, bank, or financial institution and may vary.
13. Chargebacks
If you believe a charge was made in error, please contact us first at [email protected] so we can attempt to resolve the issue. Nothing in this section limits any legally protected right to dispute an unauthorized or improper charge.
14. Event-Specific Policies
Some events may have unique refund, transfer, deposit, or cancellation requirements. Any such terms should be clearly disclosed on the event page or during checkout before purchase. When clearly disclosed before purchase, event-specific refund terms control over this general Policy with respect to that event, subject to applicable law.
