Event Registration & Attendee Terms

These Event Registration & Attendee Terms (“Event Terms”) apply to events produced, hosted, co-hosted, or presented by The Elevation Project, LLC when the applicable registration page links to or incorporates these Event Terms. By purchasing, receiving, or using a ticket to attend an applicable event, you agree to these Event Terms.

1. Registration Information

Purchasers and attendees must provide accurate registration information. We may use registration information to confirm attendance, issue tickets, communicate event information, facilitate check-in, provide event materials, coordinate accessibility or other requested accommodations, and administer event operations.

If you purchase a ticket for another person, you represent that you are authorized to provide that person’s registration information for these purposes.

2. Co-Presented Events and Data Sharing

Certain events may be presented with another organization. When an event is jointly presented, we may share attendee registration information with the co-presenter as disclosed during registration.

For the Atholos Performance Leaders – Campfire Summit, presented by Elevation Project, Atholos will receive attendee registration information, including attendee names, email addresses, organizations, job titles, and other registration information collected for the event. This sharing supports administration and joint presentation of the event. Any independent use of attendee information by Atholos is subject to Atholos’s own privacy practices.

3. Admission

Admission is subject to a valid registration, any applicable payment requirement, event capacity, event-specific eligibility requirements, venue rules, and these Event Terms. We may require reasonable proof of registration or identity at check-in.

4. Age Requirement

Elevation Project events are generally intended for attendees age 18 and older unless the applicable event page expressly states that minors are permitted. When minors are permitted, additional parent or legal guardian consent or attendance requirements may apply.

5. Tickets

A ticket grants the registered attendee a limited, revocable right to attend the applicable event subject to these Event Terms. Tickets may not be duplicated, counterfeited, fraudulently obtained, or used for unauthorized commercial purposes.

6. Transfers and Resale

Ticket transfers are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy and any event-specific rules. Unless otherwise stated, transfer requests should be submitted at least 72 hours before the event. Tickets may not be resold for commercial profit or used in unauthorized promotions, sweepstakes, contests, advertising, or bundled commercial offerings without our written permission.

7. Event Conduct

We want Elevation Project events to provide a professional, welcoming, productive, and respectful environment. Attendees are expected to treat attendees, speakers, staff, contractors, and venue personnel respectfully; follow reasonable instructions; respect personal boundaries; avoid disruptive or unsafe conduct; comply with applicable law and venue policies; and respect event materials and intellectual property.

Prohibited conduct includes violence or threats; harassment or intimidation; unwanted physical contact; discriminatory harassment; deliberate disruption; dangerous or reckless behavior; possession of prohibited items; unauthorized access to restricted areas; fraudulent ticketing or credentials; and conduct that materially interferes with the safety or participation of others.

8. Removal From an Event

We reserve the right to refuse admission or remove an attendee when we reasonably believe the attendee presents a safety or security concern, is materially disrupting the event, is violating these Event Terms or venue rules, is engaging in unlawful conduct, is harassing or threatening another person, or has obtained a ticket fraudulently. Removal for misconduct may occur without a refund to the extent permitted by law.

9. Photography, Video, and Audio Recording

Elevation Project events may be photographed, filmed, livestreamed, or otherwise recorded. By entering and participating in an event, you acknowledge that photography, audio recording, and video recording may occur.

To the extent permitted by law, you grant The Elevation Project and its authorized event partners, contractors, and licensees permission to photograph, record, and use your image, likeness, voice, and appearance captured in connection with the event for event documentation, educational materials, website content, social media, public relations, promotional materials, and marketing future Elevation Project programs and events, without additional compensation.

If you have a privacy concern regarding photography or recording, contact us before the event. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate appropriate requests, but we cannot guarantee exclusion from incidental or crowd photography.

10. Attendee Photography and Recording

Unless an event states otherwise, attendees may take reasonable photographs for personal use provided that doing so does not disrupt the event, interfere with another attendee’s experience, violate another person’s privacy, or violate instructions from the speaker, venue, or event staff.

Without authorization, attendees may not record or distribute entire presentations, livestream sessions, commercially exploit event recordings, reproduce proprietary presentation materials, use recording equipment in prohibited areas, or record another attendee in circumstances where that person reasonably expects privacy.

11. Event Materials and Intellectual Property

Presentations, slides, handouts, videos, frameworks, exercises, training materials, and other event content may be protected by copyright, trademark, confidentiality obligations, or other rights. Purchasing a ticket does not transfer ownership of those materials.

12. Speakers and Opinions

Speakers, panelists, guests, sponsors, and event partners may express their own views. Their statements do not necessarily represent the views of The Elevation Project, and participation by a third party does not necessarily constitute an endorsement by The Elevation Project of that person’s products, services, or opinions.

13. Changes to the Event

We may make reasonable changes to an event when circumstances require, including changes to speakers, agenda, session times, activities, room assignments, venue, format, event technology, or other logistical details. Material cancellation, rescheduling, or relocation will be handled in accordance with our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

14. Health and Safety

Attendees are responsible for using reasonable judgment regarding their own health, safety, and participation and agree to follow reasonable safety instructions from The Elevation Project, the venue, and event personnel. To the extent permitted by law, attendees accept the ordinary risks associated with voluntarily attending and participating in an event. Nothing in these Event Terms releases The Elevation Project from liability that cannot legally be waived.

15. Medical Needs

Attendees are responsible for bringing medications, medical equipment, or other personal items they may require. Event staff are not responsible for providing individualized medical care unless expressly arranged. In an emergency, we may contact emergency services or take reasonable actions intended to protect an attendee’s safety.

16. Food and Dietary Information

If an event provides food or beverages, attendees should communicate relevant dietary requirements or allergies when requested during registration or as early as reasonably possible. We may make reasonable efforts to accommodate dietary requests but cannot guarantee that food or facilities will be completely free from particular allergens or cross-contact.

17. Accessibility and Accommodations

The Elevation Project is committed to providing a welcoming experience for attendees with disabilities. If you need an accommodation or communication aid to participate in an event, contact us as early as reasonably possible at [email protected]. We will work in good faith with attendees, venues, and service providers to address reasonable accommodation requests consistent with applicable law.

18. Personal Property

Attendees are responsible for their own personal property. To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Elevation Project is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property unless caused by conduct for which liability cannot legally be excluded.

19. Travel and Lodging

Unless expressly included in the ticket description, attendees are responsible for arranging and paying for their own travel, transportation, parking, lodging, meals outside the event offering, and other incidental expenses. We are not responsible for losses arising from separate travel reservations if an event is canceled, rescheduled, or changed, except where required by law.

20. Events Outside Our Reasonable Control

Events may be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disaster, transportation interruption, venue closure, governmental action, public emergency, utility outage, labor disruption, or other extraordinary circumstances. If such circumstances require cancellation or rescheduling, our Refund & Cancellation Policy will apply.

21. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Elevation Project and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from attendance at an event. For claims directly arising from an event ticket purchase, our aggregate liability will not exceed the amount paid to The Elevation Project for the applicable ticket, except where applicable law prohibits such a limitation.

22. Privacy

Personal information collected in connection with an event is handled according to our Privacy Policy and any additional event-specific disclosure provided at registration.

23. Refunds

Refunds, cancellations, ticket transfers, and rescheduled events are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

24. Governing Law

These Event Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, subject to any mandatory rights that apply under another jurisdiction’s law. To the extent permitted by law, disputes may be brought in the appropriate state or federal courts located in or serving Franklin County, Ohio.
