Cookie & Consent Policy
Effective Date: September 21, 2026
This Cookie & Consent Policy explains how The Elevation Project, LLC (“The Elevation Project,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on elevationprox.com and related pages and services. This Policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small data files stored on a computer, phone, tablet, or other device when you visit a website. Cookies may help websites function, maintain shopping carts, remember preferences, process payments, improve security, and measure website usage.
Cookies may be session cookies, which generally expire when your browser session ends, or persistent cookies, which remain on your device for a defined period unless deleted earlier. They may also be first-party cookies placed by the website you are visiting or third-party cookies associated with another service used by the website.
2. Categories of Cookies We Use
Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies support functions necessary to operate the Site, including shopping cart functionality, checkout sessions, secure payment processing, fraud prevention, security, session management, and user-requested functionality. Disabling these cookies may prevent portions of the Site, including ticket checkout, from functioning properly.
Analytics Cookies
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Site. Analytics cookies may distinguish visitors and sessions and measure page views, traffic sources, device characteristics, and Site interactions. Where consent is required by applicable law, analytics cookies will be used in accordance with the visitor’s consent choices.
Functional Cookies
Certain Site features may use cookies to remember preferences or support optional functionality. The specific functional cookies used may vary as Site features change.
Advertising and Targeting Cookies
The Elevation Project does not currently use the Site to intentionally place advertising or targeting cookies for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may use Google Ads or other advertising technologies in the future. If we do, we will update this Policy and our consent controls as appropriate before or when those technologies are enabled.
3. Cookies Associated With WooCommerce
Our Site uses WooCommerce to support ticket purchasing and checkout. Depending on how you interact with the store, WooCommerce may use cookies such as woocommerce_cart_hash, woocommerce_items_in_cart, and wp_woocommerce_session_[identifier] to recognize cart changes and associate a visitor with cart/session information. Additional WooCommerce cookies may be used when optional features are enabled.
4. Cookies Associated With Stripe
Stripe is used to securely process payments. Stripe or Stripe-related integrations may use cookies such as _stripe_mid and _stripe_sid, together with similar technologies, for payment functionality, security, fraud detection, authentication, and related purposes. Stripe determines its own use and retention of cookies in accordance with its applicable privacy and cookie practices.
5. Google Analytics Cookies
Google Analytics may use cookies including _ga and _ga_[identifier] to distinguish visitors and maintain information about sessions. Under Google’s standard configuration, these cookies may persist for up to approximately two years, although settings and consent choices can alter their operation or duration.
6. Managing Your Cookie Preferences
Where available, you may use the Cookie Settings control on the Site to manage non-essential cookie categories. Our preference center should provide options to Accept All, Reject Non-Essential, or Manage Preferences. Strictly necessary cookies generally cannot be disabled through our consent tool because they are required to provide Site functionality requested by the visitor.
Visitors may also manage or delete cookies using browser settings. Blocking cookies through a browser may affect Site functionality, including shopping carts, checkout, payments, and preferences.
7. Google Analytics Consent
Where required, we may use consent-management technology to communicate a visitor’s analytics consent choice to Google. Rejecting analytics cookies should not prevent you from purchasing an event ticket or using essential Site functionality.
8. Changes to This Cookie Policy
The technologies used on the Site may change over time. We may update this Policy when cookies, analytics tools, payment providers, advertising technologies, or other technologies change.
